economic prosperity
Things need to be not just affordable, but easily achievable! I want to lower costs and put more money in your pocket. It should not hurt to fill up your gas tank, pay the electric bill, or be a luxury to add hamburger to the grocery cart. People are struggling to pay their rent or a mortgage, let alone afford Christmas gifts or a family vacation. I don't want my family to struggle, and I don’t want yours to either. I will work to make life more affordable and more prosperous for my district and all Michiganders.
Lake st. Clair
In 2025, millions of gallons of raw sewage filled with toilet paper and solid waste were drained into our beautiful lake, causing foul odors and health warnings. Steps have been taken over the years to fix this serious issue, but progress has been too slow. I will seek funding to fast-track permanent solutions and make our lake safe for everyone. Lake St. Clair has untapped economic potential to attract tourism and business from around the world. I will pursue the funding needed to improve our shoreline, boat access sites, marinas and beaches. Together, we can make it happen.
seniors
Seniors have seen their Social Security, retirement, savings, and years of hard work crushed by inflation and rising costs. It's time to change that, and I will take action! Seniors have paid their dues, and what is happening to them will one day happen to us. They shouldn't have to barely get by or pinch every penny. These are the golden years for a reason, and I will fight to make sure that they have them.
Public Safety
I am committed to making public safety a top priority. I proudly back the blue and support our dedicated law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect our families and communities. With violent crime and local terrorist attacks on the rise, we must ensure officers have the latest resources and training they need. We can make our communities safer, reduce crime, and build trust between police and residents all across Michigan.
strong & Safe schools
I have six children in the Anchor Bay school system, from high school to kindergarten, and I understand the concerns parents have about their children's well-being. That's why I want to make sure teachers have the resources they need to provide the best education possible, while also creating greater transparency so parents know what their children are being taught and can stay involved in their education. With parents’ involvement, we can get back to teaching the basics, and get radical ideologies and political agendas out of the classroom!
PROTECTING WOMEN & GIRLS
As a father of two amazing girls, the thought of them being forced to compete against biological males or share locker rooms, showers, or restrooms with them is deeply concerning. I will support commonsense policies to protect opportunities for women and girls in sports and stop this from happening in our great state.
SMOOTH ROADS
For years, politicians promised smooth roads, yet left us with pot holes. We pay our taxes and expect results. I'm tired of having my car take a beating on roads that I pay to have maintained, and I know you are too! We do not live in a third-world country, and our roads should reflect that. That is why I am going to fight to allocate funding to repair our roads quickly and keep them in good condition.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance costs are skyrocketing, and many families are struggling to keep up. Politicians have been promising to lower health care costs for years but only seem to make things worse. By fighting for more pricing transparency and more health care options, we can help dramatically lower costs while ensuring people have access to quality health care.
Right to Life
I am unapologetically pro-life, and will absolutely support the rights of the unborn. I believe this is a right given by our Creator. In Michigan, our Constitution allows for abortion rights. I believe we should encourage a culture of life, and support those in need. As your state Senator, I’ll work to provide the proper resources to mothers and fathers in difficult situations, and work to encourage more Michiganders to be born and live out their lives to the fullest.
Skilled Trades
Our schools and our government need to do a better job of promoting the incredible opportunities that skilled and vocational trades offer. For every three skilled trades workers who leave the workforce, only one enters it. As a state we need to do more to provide that education and hands-on training for the next generation.
